Every legacy BY4 question (2008-spec WJEC modular Biology, 2011–2017) plus the relevant population, ecosystem and human-impact questions from BY5, hand-sorted onto the 2015 Unit 3 topics and re-laid-out as fourteen narrow single-topic packs — cover, spec recap, crib sheet, whole questions with full marks preserved. Topics: ATP, photosynthesis, respiration, microbiology (split across bacterial growth, the nitrogen cycle, and microbial disease & biocontrol), kidney homeostasis, the nervous system, populations, ecosystems and human impact. (Fifteen open-choice essays were dropped because they cut across narrow topics; two off-spec photoperiodism / plant-hormone questions and the BY5 genetics / reproduction questions were dropped because they sit in A2 Unit 4, not Unit 3.)

Topics: human reproduction, plant reproduction, monohybrid & sex-linked inheritance, dihybrid / linkage / epistasis with chi-squared, meiosis & mutation, DNA replication & protein synthesis, Hardy–Weinberg & speciation, and recombinant DNA / biotech. (The three optional A2 topics — Immunology & disease, Human musculoskeletal anatomy, Neurobiology & behaviour — are not represented because the 2008 modular spec did not assess them in the 1075 module; for those use the 2015 SQP and specimen materials. Two off-spec photoperiodism questions, one off-spec succession question, and three open-choice essays were dropped.)
