Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 June 2026
revise.wales is a free resource that collects WJEC past papers, mark schemes, specifications and topic question packs in one place. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the site, who processes it, and the choices you have. It applies to revise.wales only - not to any external site we link to.
If you use the Contact or Submit Errors / Suggestions pages, you may provide your name, email address, a message and (optionally) a file. These forms are powered by Elfsight, which processes the submission on our behalf so we can read and reply to it. We only use this information to respond to you - we don't sell it or use it for marketing.
Like most websites, some data is collected automatically as you browse, through the third-party services below. This can include pages visited, time on page, approximate location, device and browser type, screen settings and your IP address.
_ga and _gid.
Both are run by Google; see Google's Privacy & Terms for how it handles this data. We also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
The Ko-fi button is optional. If you choose to donate, your payment is handled by Ko-fi under their own privacy policy - we never see your card details.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. revise.wales uses them mainly for analytics and advertising (set by Google), and the embedded forms and widgets above may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; this won't stop you using the site. You can also:
Google Analytics deletes user- and event-level data automatically after 26 months. Messages you send through the contact or submission forms are kept only as long as needed to deal with your query.
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to object to or restrict how it's processed. To exercise any of these, get in touch via the Contact page. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
revise.wales links to other sites, including WJEC and Amazon. This policy only covers revise.wales - once you follow a link, the other site's privacy policy applies, so it's worth reading theirs too.
We may update this policy as the site changes. Any updates will appear here with a revised "last updated" date.
